Ammunition that does not have the necessary bullet energy:

  • hunting of roe deer – it is prohibited to use rifled gun cartridges with a bullet energy of less than 1,000 J at a distance of 100 m;
  • hunting fallow deer, second-year wild boars and young boars – it is prohibited to use rifled gun cartridges with a bullet energy of less than 2,000 J at a distance of 100 m;
  • hunting elk, red deer and adult wild boars – it is prohibited to use rifled gun cartridges with a bullet energy of less than 2,500 J at a distance of 100 m.

Night vision sights or their accessories attached to optical sights

Night sights or their accessories attached to optical sights are permitted only for stalking hunting, when hunting boars, foxes, mongooses, common raccoons, Canadian minks, nutrias, and muskrats.

Please note that a universal sight (with a day/night mode switching function) is considered a night sight.

Only searchlights attached to a rifle are permitted when hunting boars, foxes, mongooses, common raccoons, Canadian minks, nutrias, and muskrats, hunting dogs are used for hunting or searching for wounded animals.

Hunting with a searchlight is permitted to hunt:

  • foxes – 15 October – 31 March;
  • mongooses, raccoons, minks, nutria, muskrats, and boars – throughout the calendar year.

Semi-automatic firearms with magazines holding more than 2 rounds

IconSemi-automatic firearms are permitted if the magazines are equipped with limiters that prevent the use of more than 2 rounds.

It is prohibited to hunt:

  • from land vehicles, as well as to chase or run down game animals with vehicles;
  • from aircraft;
  • from moving motor watercraft;
  • by illuminating from vehicles with any artificial light sources.

* Selective traps are specially adapted traps that are designed to catch only certain species of animals.
